Lewis Gordon is an award-winning documentary editor and filmmaker based in Toronto.

With a decade of experience, Lewis is skilled at finding the heart of a story and building a structure that connects with audiences. To date, Lewis has crafted five feature length documentaries, various short docs, and countless commercial spots for TV and socials.

His featured work includes Canadian Screen Awards winner Nike’s Big Bet (Hot Docs ‘21), Atlanta Documentary Film Festival winner Clear Sky, and an upcoming all access documentary on bodybuilding superstar Chris Bumstead.

Lewis is a graduate of Carleton University’s prestigious journalism program and takes pride in his journalistic ability to research and ask questions in the edit. He is also a frequent collaborator with online filmmaking academy The Art of Documentary and is lead instructor on the platform’s editing course, The Perfect Cut.

Outside of the edit suite, Lewis spends his time examining obscure hockey trivia, walking his permanent assistant editor Kiki, and winning local hot dog eating championships.
